Characters are realistic and get better and better. Read all of the books in order to really w. Synopsis: A series of short stories revolving around a man who has homicidal tendencies only to be leveled out by one of his would be victims. My review: I previously reviewed just books After reading this book I decided to buy all the remaining available books in one box set, so essentially on this post I am only reviewing books As I was reading the books I thought that once you read the first story all other stories could be read independently from each other as individual short stories but as I continued to read I realized that even though these were called books they were really just chapters in a really long book and should definitely be read in order.

The stories, while they each have a beginning, middle and end, they are all very much connected to each other as well. The author brings back characters from previous stories, entwines them yet again in the ongoing saga that is Dr. Jessica White and her husband's life.

That difficult first novel

I could not put this book down. Each of these stories are fantastic. After book 24 there were three novels written that also follow the same story line chronologically. My plan is to read these three books before continuing with Taken! As of now there are also Box Sets and released in ebook and paperback form. I am giddy with excitement. I highly recommend that you read Taken! Box Set books as soon as possible, you will not be disappointed. It is available for free on Amazon or iTunes. Nov 03, Tere Fredericks rated it it was amazing. Jessica is a Wonder To let anyone who may not read any of my reviews, I will let you know I review as I read.

So far, I have given away no spoilers. I intend to keep it that way. But for me, writing my thoughts as I read keeps the books fresher in my mind. I write my notes in a separate app then copy over. It's also my way of ensuring I don't unknowingly reread a book from Kindle Unlimited. Hooray for KU, except writers only get credit for one read. And unfortunately, my review will not show as a Jessica is a Wonder To let anyone who may not read any of my reviews, I will let you know I review as I read.

And unfortunately, my review will not show as a verified purchase. If I read a book that I will re-read, I save my pennies and eventually buy it. I must also preface this review by admitting I am a rabid Remington Kane fan. I am reading the ones I missed in the early years. Again, this is one I have already read, but the review is gone.

Hopefully, the review I write time will stay put. It is days after the helicopter crash on the day of Juliet's marriage to Rob. Jessica has friends and family to help her as days drag by with only the pilot's body found. Jessica goes and drags Rob to their place. She can't let him wait for news alone. Do you remember the pit bull from the first book? So do I.

He's back, saving Jessica from the bad guys until he returns. Good boy, Stitches. The evil men do to each other - and women are included in the men part of this statement - is well beyond what I could ever imagine. Kane imagines it very well. What happens in prisons, especially those where illegal immigrants are locked up, is simply inhumane. Another book filled with the reader holding whatever version they are reading clutched in their hands, jumping at every little noise. But at the same time thinking, poor deluded Jessica.
