However my only negatives are the long and repetitive dialogues in some sections and the sexual scenes. This was too much. At times the scenes made me feel like I was reading pornography and I had to skip some of these pages, especially the oral, sex shower scene with Rhys and Scarlet, who had given birth a few days before. The sexual scenes were the same in all of the novels that I have read. I am no prude, but these scenes leaves nothing to the imagination and it's a shame really, because the rest of the content is more than sufficient to grab a reader's attention and keep them enthralled.
I am very interested in time travel and don't mind the romance that goes with it, but the sex scenes need not be so explicit. However, it was well deserving of a five star and the entire content would be suitable for readers who loves reading time travel fictional novels like I do, but would also love a bit of titillation. Feb 21, Cheryl rated it it was amazing. A lot is happening in this book but all for the good.
Such an excellent well written story! He is the person who sets things along a specific path and tweeks the times. He is such an interesting character throughout the stories. There is so much going on in this book and if you have not read the other books you might not understand what is happening. Rhys is still a favorite of mine. You will lov A lot is happening in this book but all for the good. You will love the action, romance and the humor but this is such a big story with lots of changes.
I highly recommend this this entire series of books! I would give this book more than five stars if I could! Nov 28, Keryn rated it it was amazing. Great fun I've loved this series from book 1 on. I truly lived seeing all the characters actually meet up in this exciting read Not to mention piece together how Donnel ties in with everyone Add in a psycho trying to harm them for some unknown reason, and Scarlett's psycho, money grubbing mother into the mix and we have an interesting foe. Not a neccesity, but helps with the back story.
People from many different time lines band together to help save the life of an unborn baby Along the way they learn there are more family to be discovered and enemies to escape. All in all it's a really fun read with romance, family and an obsessed psycho trying to end it all. Mar 05, SuzyHD rated it it was amazing. Bringing the characters together and interlocking them for all time was brilliant story telling.
Knowing that this book is the finale of this series, I can not help myself from wishing to read more. I feel certain that our time watcher future man has a lot more stories to tell us. Read the series and saver the final book. Feb 16, K. Ryner rated it it was amazing.
I really enjoyed this book, the whole series. The characters are believable and likeable, and I really cared about what happened to them. Sign me up!!! The writing was fairly smooth, with less of the troublesome editing errors that seem to proliferate these days.
I highly recommend this book, if this is your genre. I love time-travel-books.

I'm so sad to have it end. Loved all the characters in this series. I'm glad I own the whole series so I can listen to it over again. One of the best things about this series is it makes me laugh. I love this one! I love that it was the hero that did the time traveling and had to make all the adjustments. It is admittedly slow at times and definitely a slow burn, but the payoff was quite satisfying. Happy reading! View 2 comments. Apr 26, Shelly Record rated it really liked it. Finally, a time travel read where the laird travels!
Nov 22, Meme rated it liked it Shelves: sci-fi-romance. I love a slow burn as much as the next reader but good god this got boring around the middle I almost quit on this story several times and by the time their romance made it to the bedroom all i could muster was a grunt and whispered "finally! The rest of it was okay How the hell dose the heroine go from saying she has no connections to having a genius hacker brother who could do everything they need Claire a. Sorcha and Hugh were unbelievably portrayed in such a realistic light, and character growth was perfect.
They didn't just fall into bed the first few days, which had become the norm nowadays. They grew to love in a "my true love" kind of way without a rushed lust, and it's much less trashy, but still sexy and romantic.http://mangiardino.com/lg-espectro-2-manual.php
A Time & Place for Every Laird
I could go on and on over this book, but I'll let you figure it out after you read it. A nice twist on a highlands tale A well written and engaging story. Claire and Hugh, the main characters are well portrayed, and the story moves along at a good pace. At times Claire's indecisiveness goes on too long, but I suppose the author was trying to communicate the magnitude of her loss and depth of her first love.
Hugh as portrayed is a man most women would love to meet.

Apr 03, Dee rated it it was amazing. Great book Here the guy gets wrenched out of his time by a governmental science project gone wrong and sent to our 21st century. Read in just under an hour and forty minutes Great follow up to the series d however you should have brought Donnell back in to explain some in why Hugh was important for the future. Sep 24, Diane Goodman rated it it was amazing. I am a sucker for time travel romance novels and this is another wonderful novel.
I will not give anything away because that makes me nuts. That takes away all the excitement of reading the book. I want to live the story with the characters. This story has it all romance, action and a lot of really hot men. What more could you want I have already bought the whole series and can hardly wait to start on the rest of the books. A good contemporary time travel romance is fun; especially if the time traveler comes to present time rather than goes back in time. In this case, Claire walks into a laboratory at work and finds a man in a kilt covered in blood.
Asking for help to escape the situation, she panics and runs but thanks to the Native American who is also being held in captivity Hugh escapes finds her and they on their journey to save Hugh and escape the company. Funny that we take for granted all our amenities. Lov A good contemporary time travel romance is fun; especially if the time traveler comes to present time rather than goes back in time.

Well now, I have the answer to my question: how a person from the past would adapt to our times. Angeline Fortin did an amazing job with Hugh Urquhart. I loved reading how Hugh discovered the advancements of the 21 century. I loved the way he wanted to learn and understand the world around him. Great story, again! Jan 25, Cheryl rated it it was amazing. An excellent well written story! A true romance story with humor, action and lots of love. Feb 05, Karen McLean Barnett rated it it was amazing. Marvelous I love the way Angeline writes, with a touch of detail and atmosphere. I'm taken away by the words and the people. Hugh would be the perfect Highlander Warrior in anytime or place. But it's really nice to have a female savior and with such intelligence is magnificent!!
Oct 06, Sharon Crocker rated it really liked it Shelves: contemporary-romance , mystery-suspense-romance , time-travel. Ticked all my boxes! It's got realistic characters that don't make you want to slap or shake sense into them. The method of time travel is believable and there is a bit of suspense to go with it. Combine that with a good plot and back story and we have a winner folks! Nov 19, Eliane Dickerson rated it really liked it. I really liked the story. Now she's ready to make big changes, but she never could have imagined how big those changes would turn out to be. Returning to the medieval Dunskirk Castle, where she filmed the Puppet War trilogy, she encounters an old Scotsman named Donell who directs her to an ancient claymore that sends her back in time to 16th-century Scotland. When she was accidentally pushed into a wormhole, Allorah "Al" Maines never imagined she'd be thrown back in time, land at the feet of a gorgeous Highlander, and be taken as his prisoner. Al is awestruck by the savage Scot who chained her up in his dungeon.
But once she emerges from her cell, she finds herself even more captivated by the roguish Highlander he's transformed into. He's an undeniably enticing manifestation of all her secret fantasies - ones she's tempted to explore. Scarlett would do anything to save her unborn baby, even return to a time she never thought she'd see again.
Not for a moment had she missed the constant scrutiny of a celebrity life. To reappear now, inexplicably pregnant in the eyes of the modern world would create a media circus, but Scarlett knows she can overcome any obstacles with Laird at her side and the help of new friends drawn together across time itself by the enigmatic Scotsman known as Auld Donell.
