This means the freshness and sourness for which the coastal Mexican state's cuisine is famous reverberate from every plate. Most impressive is Los Primos Mariscos' ceviche: so many chunks of shrimp or fish are packed on the large tostada it's only a matter of time before the Santa Ana PD cites Los Primos Mariscos for overcrowding. On the corner of First and Hesperian streets, Santa Ana, Both shaved and chunky, the soft morsels are complemented with zingy lemon and capers, fresh-shaved Parmesan, artichoke hearts, and salad bits.
Other Italian platters are excellent, but the carpaccio is like a beef-flavored Listerine strip for the gut. The cinnamon rolls are the biggest sellers, as is the great peach coffee cake, a snowdrift of cream smartly balanced by unsweetened peaches in the cake's center. But beware of the German chocolate cake coated with a tan coconut frosting that Pharis could successfully export to the Fatherland; the stuff's denser than uranium.
Luke is soon victorious, and Brakiss flees back to the Shadow Academy.
But as the Jedi's re-enforcements arrive—in the form of Lando Calrissian and his GemDiver Station—the Emperor's guardsmen, who have been faking the Emperor's existence from the start of the series, reveal the face of the Emperor. The Emperor panics and engages the Shadow Academy's self-destruct. The Dark Jedi's base is instantly destroyed, with Brakiss on it.
By the end of the story, all of the Jedi are battered, bruised, and barely alive. But the Dark Side has lost, Zekk has become the boy they once knew, and the Academy can be rebuilt. It is a day of victory. Brakiss says that no substance is immune to a lightsaber. I, Jedi by Michael A. Stackpole establishes that cortosis is immune to a lightsaber strike. Furthermore, the Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss describes this about beskar , which Brakiss specifically points out is not immune to a lightsaber strike.

And great restaurant for dinner! You need to bring your own soap, shampoo and personal things.
Convinience stores aren't always open during the day. Location was great, just 2 minutes from the dock where you can take the boat to any of the tours. The room was clean, spacious and the staff deliverd a good service overall. They were very helpful with guidance on tours and prices. They let us use the pool restrooms and showers to get changed post-checkout once we returned from the tours.

Mini-fridge has a light which lights up the whole room at night because it's got a glass pane in the fridge door. We just covered it with a towel so it was no problem. Breakfast portions were on the smaller side but also quite affordable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. They offer a nice boat tour, which we enjoyed there was snorkeling and gorgeous beaches.
Room and bathroom were clean. The pizza at Roxy's restaurant is home made and super yummy!

We had a hammock in front of our room and howler monkeys close by. Very relaxed atmosphere. Fair prices for beer and food. Roxy, the owner, is super hospitable, generous and just fun to be around. She and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. It's also a place that cares about the environment. Would definitely stay there again.
They need expresso coffee for breakfast. Very nice place great service and food cook by the owner roxy we had ahi tuna caught in the afternoon for dinner. Some of the food was way too salty. Roxy is awesome and very helpful, but her husband created an awkward situation by being drunk and kinda shady. Great location, had an in-house restaurant and one right next door. Norys was simply the best, always willing to accomodate everything for us and really left a very good impression on us. This is supposedly a hostel, but has more of a hotel feel, which was a very pleasant surprise.
After that he told us to take our time and let him know our decision, half hour later we decided to not go and I went to informed him that and suddenly he changed his polite attitude and became very rude pointing his wrist watch like at this our your are going to tell me that!! Also confesed me that we were the only booked on the trip. The last day when we checked out I forgot my towel and bathing suit hanging on a hamac and went back asking for it and they only said they didnt see it. You just dont treat guests like that. Neither if your a foreign and the guest are nationals.
Restaurant is the only option for eating. Happy staff, clean and modern facilities, comfy bed and pillows, good customer service and nice pizzas and juices. Shout out to Noris Staff and Roxy owner who make you feel at home. Roxy, Nore and Carlos will take excellent care of you! The rooms are clean and comfortable with really good showers. The pool is nice. The restaurant and bar are fun.
It is in a great location. Roxy makes sure that all of her guests are well taken care of and feel at home. From arranging trips and sharing secret beaches to introducing everyone to one another, Roxy is on top of everything - always with a huge, contagious smile. We will definitely be back! Nothing bad to say. Roxy ,Carlos and staff were excellent hosts and very helpful with information and activities Hotel is very well taken care off. Rooms are simple but clean with comfortable bed. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money! Honestly the only thing I would say are the pillows are a bit firm, but someone may prefer a firm pillow.
This is digging deep for something I didn't like. Roxy speaks excellent English and facilitates your fishing needs. The property has a cable, pool, hot tub, fitness room, restaurant, secure parking and bar. It is possible to accommodate a private party of up to 24 guest.
For fisherman looking for a place to bring wives, family or a group of anglers I feel comfortable stated you will be please with your overall stay. In addition, there are televisions in the bar for sports watching.

The staff is friendly and find a way to make your stay comfortable. The food is good and they will even change up your sides upon request. For example, we tend to eat salad and veggies with our meals and the was absolutely no problem with the request. Overall, I will simply say we will make return visits to Roxy's' Fishing Club. The best place to stay in Boca Chica! Staff could not have been nicer. Went over and above for New Year's Eve. Best ever. We had trouble with the water supply in the town. The owner was very helpful to supply bottled water free of charge. Neighbours very noisy did not sleep.
Swimming pool and fishing trip plus the island we visited. Hospitality of the owner. You need to have a mind that anything can happen there as it is a small town. While we stay there we need to wait until they fixed a water problem and also a Wi-Fi problem. But for the rest, the stay was so nice.
The staff is so nice. I requested a special surprise for my boyfriend and they did more than the expected. So it was also a surprise for me. The breakfast is good and also the pizza they sell after 6pm at the bar. From arrival to departure, everything was wonderful! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Rates are an absolute bargain. Roxy the owner arranges great trips at low costs for her guests. My wife and I enjoyed a couple days of beach hopping and a day of fishing.
Roxy's prices for both activities were far below what I found at other places around Boca Chica.
